Returns and Exchanges

Tokyo Posh does not accept returns and exchanges; this is explicitly written in the receipt. Tokyo Posh products are considered personal goods because once it has been used or tried on, it is no longer hygienic for other clients to use. Refunds are also not allowed because the process is susceptible to fraud by employees and customers.

 

However, exemption applies when the purchased item is defective, as per DTI ordinance: “The Official Receipt is the best proof of purchase. However, he/she may still demand replacement or refund if he/she can prove that a defective item was bought from a certain store.”

 

For very special cases, with the approval of store manager or top management, exchanges may be allowed given the following circumstances:

 

• Item has not been used / combed
• Item has all its original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.)
• Item is returned in its original packaging
• Item is accompanied with the original invoice or receipt
